This small but important waterfront park features a ticket booth and shaded public plaza with public restrooms and a boardwalk to support a variety of transportation activities along San Diego’s active waterfront.
Designed to meet Port District and City of San Diego requirements, this facility accommodates ferry service to and from Coronado Island, the San Diego Convention Center, and the Bayfront Hilton. The adjacent park offers expansive turf area for special events and recreation.
The new pier is also home to prestigious, private mega-yachts.
The project is an important aesthetic amenity along the ‘delivery’ side of the Convention Center, and include streetscape plantings and landscape areas within the adjacent parking lot.
