LEED GOLDThis  $10 million renovation, completed in 2012, incorporates LEED Silver performance standards, with state-of-the-art energy and water conservation elements. A sleek, modern façade now encloses new classrooms, offices, and lab spaces, complimented by an open-air display space for finished aircraft.

Bold succulents are arranged in geometric ‘panels’, offset with decorative stone. Canopy trees line pedestrian corridors, & the main entry plaza offers a social gathering spot with custom benches & enhanced paving, backdropped by a soaring steel panel element.
09-Photos - 3578Stormwater was directed into a bio-filtration unit & water conservation was achieved with drought tolerant plants & state-of-the-art drip irrigation, tied to a ‘smart’ controller with data coming from the campus weather station. The smart controller delivers water to match the daily water  needs of the individual plants.
