Marum Partnership provided design plans & specifications for the revitalization of this existing multi-modal transportation hub in downtown Oceanside.
The new Sprinter line began operation in 2008, so new pedestrian circulation paths and way-finding elements were needed. Improvements included new thematic monument signage and directional signs.
Major corridors were lined with Palm Trees and special nodes were defined with decorative paving and colorful plantings. Thematic site furnishings and fences were added to support the ‘ocean-side’ theme. The new landscape theme now reflects the facility’s proximity to the ocean and minimizes maintenance.
