This new office building is located in the Rancho California Town Center, in the heart of Temecula. The brick materials & classic forms create a sophisticated corporate image. The grand steps at the building entry are flanked by large brick plinths. The corporate lobby transitions into a breezeway corridor that leads out to an enclosed courtyard with clocktower element.
The cloistered patio offers a peaceful work environment, with a small reflecting pool and gentle waterfall as the main focal feature. The brick paving and seatwalls are arranged in the same design pattern found on the large glass window at the main facade. Repeating this design pattern in the courtyard paving creates a unified design statement.
Benches were recessed into the raised planter walls, to accommodating quiet one-on-one conversations.Graceful shade trees follow the curved layout of the courtyard walls, and offer protection to the understory of flowering shrubs.
